TWO MINUTE DRILL · THE PLAYBOOK

About Two Minute Drill

Two Minute Drill is an independent browser game about the decisions in the closing minutes of American football.

About the Two Minute Drill game

A short, approachable practice space for reading the score, preserving a snap, moving the chains and choosing a finish. The game starts with four plays and a visible football field. Daily drills offer a common start; Practice lets you preview and undo a decision.

Every situation, explanation, route drawing and play outcome in this game is original. We use fictional scores and no real teams, players or live match data. There are no accounts, downloads or payments. Your progress lives in your browser.

A teaching model

The defense look and your choice determine a fixed result. That makes a replay useful: changing a call changes the yards, clock and available downs in a way you can compare. It is a simplified learning game, not a statistical football simulator or advice for real betting.

A touchdown includes an automatic extra point. Kicks inside the stated range are good. The opponent has no timeouts. The drill ends after one possession, and a tied finish is not a win. These choices keep the lesson focused; the game rules describe them in full.
